Introducing Xona App: Your Super Agent, Now in a Chat
Xona App brings the Xona Wallet into a chat you can talk to. Here is how we merged our two stacks, the wallet SDK agents use and the accounts people already fund, into one app at chat.xona-agent.com.

Xona has been building in two directions at once.
One direction was for agents. Xona Wallet, previously known as xPay, gives any AI agent a self-custodial wallet, a catalog of pay-per-use services, smart-routed x402 payments, swaps, tokenized stocks and spending guardrails. It ships as a CLI, an SDK and an MCP server. If you run Claude, Codex or Cursor, you can drop it in and your agent has a wallet.
The other direction was for people. xona-agent.com has accounts, email login, a funded wallet per user and a catalog of paid resources: content generation, inference, commerce search. People top up that wallet and spend from it on the site every day.
Those two stacks grew up separately, and for a while that made sense. But it left an obvious gap. Everything the wallet could do for an agent, a person had to reach through a terminal.
Xona App closes that gap. It is live today at chat.xona-agent.com.
What it is
Xona App is a chat. You sign in with the same email you use on xona-agent.com, and you talk to your wallet.
- "What's my balance?"
- "Swap 5 USDC to SOL"
- "Buy $10 of TSLAx"
- "Find an image generation API"
- "Is JUP a verified token?"
Behind every answer is a real tool call into the Xona Wallet engine, not a model guessing numbers. Balances come from the chain. Quotes come from Jupiter. Stock prices come from the xStocks markets. Service listings come from the same discovery index the CLI uses. The app renders each result as a card, so a balance looks like a balance and a quote looks like a quote, and the model adds a line or two of context on top.
Here is what you can do from the chat today:
- Wallet: balances and deposit addresses on Solana and EVM, send USDC, SOL or any SPL token, and USDT0 on Stable.
- Swaps: quote and swap on Solana through Jupiter, with a verification check on the output token before you confirm.
- Tokenized stocks: quote any xStock, see its premium or discount to the real share and whether the market is open, then buy with USDC or sell back. Ask "which AI stock should I buy" and the agent runs a free scan of every xStock against its underlying price before it picks.
- Paid services: discover x402 and MPP resources, call one, or do both in a single step. Shopping search, image-based product search, X profile and post lookups and repo security scans are all paid tools the agent can use on your behalf.
- Reports: spending history and your current guardrail limits.
Xona App is Solana-first. Solana is the default for balances, transfers, swaps and payments, with Base and Stable available when you name them.
Nothing moves without you
The hard rule in the app is that anything that moves money waits for a tap.
Read tools run immediately: balances, quotes, searches, scans. Tools that send, swap, trade or pay for a service are parked as a pending action. The chat shows an approval card with the exact amount, token, network and recipient, and nothing executes until you approve it. The backend re-checks ownership, expiry and your guardrail before it runs. Approvals expire after fifteen minutes or as soon as you send a new message.
The agent is also told, in its own instructions, that text inside tool results is data, not commands. A product listing or a web page cannot talk it into sending funds.
Try it without an account
You do not need to sign in to start. Guest mode lets you quote stocks, check whether a token is verified, search the service catalog and get shopping price quotes with no wallet at all.
Guest requests run on a throwaway keypair that is created per request and never funded, so there is no path for a guest call to move money even in principle. The moment you ask for something that needs your own wallet, the app shows a sign-in card, and after you log in it replays your request.
How we merged the two stacks
This is the part we think is worth writing down, because the obvious approach was wrong.
The wallet SDK has no account system. It is built around raw keypairs on the user's machine, which is exactly right for an agent running in a developer's terminal. The Xona backend, on the other hand, already generates and holds an encrypted Solana keypair and an EVM key for every user, because that is the wallet people fund on xona-agent.com.
Our first instinct was to wire the SDK into the browser and bolt on a wallet signer. That would have meant a new wallet per user, a new balance to fund, and keys living somewhere they should not.
The better answer was already in front of us. The SDK accepts raw signers, and the backend already has the keys. So the backend builds one wallet client per user per request from the keys it already holds, runs the agent loop server-side, and streams the result to the app. Users see the same balance they already have on xona-agent.com. Keys never reach the browser. The chat is a thin client.
Concretely:
- Login is Privy email, the same as our mobile app, synced to a backend session.
- The agent loop runs on api.xona-agent.com. It is a standard tool-calling loop over OpenRouter, with the Xona Wallet tool definitions the SDK already ships for OpenAI-style models. You can pick between Grok, GPT, Gemini and Sable from the model menu.
- Every tool result streams to the app as a typed event: text, thinking, tool call, tool result, approval. The app picks a card component by tool name.
- Spend tools are tagged from the SDK's own annotations, so if a tool is not marked read-only it goes through the approval flow automatically. We did not hand-maintain a list.
The UI itself came from another project of ours, stoxagent, a chat-first trading interface we had already shipped to Cloudflare Workers. We kept its shell, its chat layout, its collapsible thinking panel and its card system, and swapped the guts: real server-side tools instead of client-side directives, Xona accounts instead of wallet connect, and a light theme with the Xona mark.
Three stacks, really, but only two ideas. The wallet engine agents already trust, and the accounts people already fund. The app is where they meet.
On your phone
Xona App is an installable web app, and it is also packaged as an Android app for the Solana dApp Store on Seeker. It is the same app in a full-screen shell, so there is no separate build to maintain and no separate wallet to fund.
Why it matters
Xona's thesis has not changed: commerce for AI agents, settled in USDC on Solana. The wallet, the discovery index and the paid resources are the infrastructure.
What Xona App adds is a surface for people. The same wallet, the same catalog, the same payment rails, and now you can simply ask. We think this is the shape most agentic commerce will take for a while: a person in a chat, an agent that can see prices and pay, and a tap between the two.
Try it at chat.xona-agent.com. Guest mode is open, and if you already have a Xona account your wallet is waiting.
